Resumen

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Production Scheduling:
    • Ability to work with all departments to coordinate customer requirements.
    • Understand plant capabilities and manpower to achieve scheduling deadlines.
    • Work closely with customer service personnel to consistently meet our customer needs and demands.
    • Estimating the amount of material, equipment, and labor required for production.
    • Coordinating production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.
    • Recommending viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality.
  • Purchasing Functions: 
    • Creating purchase orders with follow through to receiving.
    • Work with Accounts Payable to respond to questions regarding purchase orders.
    • Oversees office supplies and works with internal and external resources when placing orders.
  • Customer Care:
    • Backup and train on various customer care roles; order entry, scheduling, shipping and receiving
  • Potential future new product implementation or 1st article responsibilities
  • Performs other miscellaneous job duties, and projects as needed.
Education/Qualifications
  • Requires at least one year of experience within an office environment, preferred
  • Experience with various ERP systems preferred
  • Previous experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment, preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
